The Globalization and Supplier Development team operating under the BCA Supply Chain Strategy organization is seeking a proactive, motivated Supplier Program Manager to support the enterprise activities of the Globalization and Supplier Development team. 

This role will focus on understanding the total supply base in the Middle East region (current and new suppliers, sub-tier suppliers), discovering new suppliers, conducting capability assessments and on-site evaluations, partnering with cross functional teams, and advancing the globalization and development strategies.

This individual will be challenged to find ways to develop and mature approaches to address complex issues, partner with multiple, diverse organizations and teams, and collect and analyze data/trends for input into regional/country strategies. The person must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy and have a passion for strategy development. They must also understand market/industry trends, supply chain architectures, and analyze data to transform the business. Position Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will perform the following duties:

  • Increase visibility to global Industrial Participation/Strategic Work Placement obligations bridging the gap for obligation fulfillment across the company
  • Support enterprise sales campaigns by preparing new suppliers and exploring new partnerships
  • Work in partnership with category management and procurement teams to align new sourcing options that are bid ready
  • Document streamline processes associated with identifying, on-boarding, training, qualification, and developing suppliers
  • Partner with cross-functional internal Boeing stakeholders, including Boeing International, Boeing Research & Technology, Product Development, Supplier Quality, Supply Chain Management, and Business Development to regularly review, streamline, and discuss the development of regional  opportunities/issues and supply chain requirements
  • Drive the expansion of regional and country strategies through globalization and supplier development support through supplier training, assessments, and strategic integration

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

  • Good technical and soft skills with a high degree of both verbal and written communication
  • 10+ years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
  • 10+ years of experience managing end-end production processes
  • 10+ years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • Experience working in Manufacturing Operations
  • Experience working in Strategy Development
  • Supplier Relationship Management and Process Development skills
  • Arabic language skills is preferred

Typical Education & Experience

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) in Engineering and typically 10+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 15 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

This requisition is for an international, locally hired position. Successful candidates must be able to obtain and maintain legal authorization to work in the UAE, KSA or Qatar for continued employment. The company will support the employee and administer the immigration process. The candidate is responsible for ensuring no historical issues or barriers exist that may result in immigration issues.
