Job Description

Carries out schedule and unscheduled maintenance and repairs of vehicles (light and heavy) and equipment such as ground power units, towing tugs, air supply units, etc. in order to provide a safe, reliable and cost effective equipment to the end user

Accountabilities

• Ensure that compliance to safety regulations is being adhered at all times during maintenance of equipment according to manufacturer standards and on time.
• Carry out maintenance, repair & overhaul of all GSE equipment, components and vehicles as per work order instructions.
• Identify faults/defects and perform repairs utilizing reference materials such as drawing and wiring diagrams and schematics and technical publications.
• Provide daily report of defects to supervisor and maintain a record of defect trends for Vehicles and Equipment
• Responsible for adherence to Health Safety and Environment and ordinary care of tooling/ground support equipment and directs attention to perform proof loading tools without accidents.
• Maintains a FOD free working area housekeeping of bay area before and after work.
• Ensure that all aircraft documentation related to his work is completed and signed progressively.

Education & Experience

• Five (5) years experience in wide variety of maintenance and repairs of vehicles and Aviation Support Equipment (GSE).
• Supervisory and team management skills
• Good computer knowledge.
• Good communication skills
• Oracle cMRO knowledge an added advantage

Training & Knowledge:

• General knowledge of ground service equipment procedures, AMOS, MS Word. Excel and Outlook
