Job Description

The jobholder is responsible for enabling FHS business efficiency and growth through supporting FHS process, methods & tools, FHS transformation projects, FHS metrics & AOS activities. He/she leads a team based in Singapore in charge of FHS AOS and process activities in the region, the development of FHS dashboards and Skywise solutions for FHS business, the FHS transformation and continuous improvement projects in the region aiming at transforming FHS-TSP operations and business model. He/she reports operationally to the HO FHS Asset Management and Business Performance in  Toulouse and functionally to the Head of FHS Singapore.

Key Deliverables

  • Lead multi-functional teams to achieve assigned targets for business savings, process improvements and AOS implementation
  • Airbus Operating System (AOS) implementation in APAC region
  • Analysis of current situation and value stream mapping on specific subjects
  • Solutions developed  and improvement proposals to improve FHS business, monitor and drive FHS performances
  • Provide FHS KPI effective and up to date
  • Project Management deliverables of transformation projects assigned to the team, in particular for FHS Boost streams and New FHS IS: planning, progress monitoring and execution, risks and opportunities management
  • Skywise and Small apps development for FHS in T, Q & C
  • Report to cross functional senior leadership on deliverables and progress status

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the team in charge of some projects and initiatives within a multi-functional department
  • Lead Skywise and small apps development for FHS drumbeatting internal and external suppliers (Hangar of the Future, internal team, Alten…) in coordination with the HO FHS Process, Methods and Tools in Toulouse
  • Manage of AOS in APAC region, coordinate the different stakeholders in the different Asian locations and ensure FHS targets are achieved
  • Manage FHS transformation streams (FHS Boost-S2S optimisation, New FHS IS,...) in the region and the coordination with the transformation team in Toulouse to ensure expected profitability improvement for FHS. Provide assistance in cross-functional matters raised by FHS Transformation team.
  • Drive local lean and continuous improvement expertise and provide guidance to project stakeholders
  • Develop and animate lean focal points within the region
  • Define new FHS KPIs and contribute to the FHS status updates.Assist operational teams in the identification of improvement areas.
  • Ensure project scope, deliverables and objectives are understood and achieved by the team
  • Develop and maintain projects communication plan and relevant presentations
  • Monitor and report progress on operational deliverables to FHS Asset Management and Business Performance
  • Ensure the proper links with all necessary organizations (within FHS and support functions)
  • Manage the team as per Airbus standard practices, in the respect of the Leadership model, deploying and promoting good practices within his/her team and FHS organization

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Degree holder in Management / Engineering
  • Minimum ten (10) years related experience and/or training in the Aerospace industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Project Management knowledge and experience
  • Six Sigma / Lean / continuous improvement knowledge
  • Details oriented
  • Customer focus
  • Excellent team player with good interpersonal and communication skills to function effectively in a multi-cultural environment
  • Proficiency Microsoft Project, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio
  • Project Management Certification
  • Skywise development knowledge
  • Experienced in mini-tab and lean tool expertise
