Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative, functional and technical and strategic direction as per the business plan to the Flight Dispatch team.
  • Prepare the operating and capital expenditure budgets relative to Flight Dispatch.
  • Maintain appropriate flight operations records, flight support records and other reporting requirements;
  • Provide flight operational support through Flight Dispatch services including, but not limited to, Flight Planning, Flight Watch, Weather Briefing, and communications as required by those applicable sections.
  • Approve and/or amend work rosters which ensure adequate and efficient Flight Dispatcher staffing on duty.
  • Responsible to oversee on flight operations equipment and facilities;
  • Review and approve all software and hardware configuration;
  • Develop training curriculums and personal development plans for all FOC staff.
  • While developing and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders with the objective of high-quality service delivery and performance of the FOC department within the limits of Flight Dispatch manual, Company Operations manual, QSMS Manual, DGCA regulations and Company policies.
