Job Description

The IDE Support & Config Management acts as the interface to system engineering and IPT to create the detailed site individual physical design out of the functional PBS from system engineering. The Installation Support Engineer is responsible for integration and maintaining of the tooling (e.g. SiteTracker, JIRA, etc.).  The IDE Support & Config Management is the focal point for installation PBS from ordering till acceptance and the handover to Operation & Maintenance (O&S). The IDE Support & Config Management works in close cooperation with the related Rollout team members and colleagues of other SIE domains concerned. The jobholder reports to the Operations Documentation Manager.

• -Prepare, design, and deliver installation PBS that meets internal and external requirements
• Elaborate implementation processes for installation, commissioning, integration, acceptance and handover.
• Document the processes for the Rollout Implementation Support Center in accordance with QA requirements
• Review, update and adapt the processes with all Rollout divisions and related internal and external departments of the SIE project
• Evaluate the tools for Implementation Support Center
• Set up the tools for a seamless use within the Rollout department
• Elaborate concept for operation of the tools
• Clarify the interfaces with other internal and external partners
• Coordinate all planning activities for deployment of different sites together with the Implementation Support Engineer and establish a reporting system for team members, management and customer
• Plane, prepare, and deliver R/O deliverables to the customer and other domains.  Deliverables will also include, but not be limited to controlling and checking the acceptance reports including all relevant documentation which has to be provided to the customer
• Adapt the relevant WP descriptions according to the agreed and finalized processes
• If feasible, implement improvements for the tooling of project-data, documentation, reports and their processing
