Job Description

The Technical Training Instructor is responsible for the state of compliance of the Engineering Department pertaining to the training programme. Designing, Developing and delivering GCAA CAR-145/EASA Part-145 recurrent training and other training courses identified as required by the business.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting to establish a Yearly Training Programme based on the needs assessment of the Engineering Department in conjunction with departmental heads.
  • Maintaining a Continuation Training Programme in compliance with established regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Carrying out instructional duties for which he/she is qualified, to meet policy, procedure, safety and technical matters required of the organisation.
  • Cover for Technical Training Team Leader for carrying out instructional duties pertaining to the apprenticeship academy.
  • Reviewing training course evaluation feedback and notify the Technical Training Team Leader of any training that does not meet requirements.
  • Maintaining a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practice requirements.
  • Establishing and reviewing Training Lesson Plans for new and established courses.
  • Design and develop technical training courses identified as a requirement for multiple departments within Engineering & Maintenance.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

Minimum Qualifications

  • Engineering Degree (or equivalent)

Education / Experience Specific Requirements

  • Preferred No. of Years (with Relevant Degree) - 5
  • Preferred No. of Years (without Relevant Degree - if applicable) - 7

Systems, Licensing, Language or Certification Requirements

  • Ability to communicate fluently in spoken and written & English.
  • IT Literate with good MS Word, Excel and Power point skills.
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops and simulations).
