Job Description

Main responsibilities:

The Digital Twin and Digital Thread are witnessed as one of the key enablers to improve the product competitiveness and manifesting the benefits of Industry 4.0. The aim of this internship shall be to understand the fundamentals of these concepts and build the Architecture of the Electrical system for the future Airbus Aircraft which shall be powered by Hydrogen. This shall be performed by embarking on the tried and tested techniques for Power Generation and Transmission systems in the state-of-the-art Airbus Aircrafts to start with and also trying some novel technologies wherever required and feasible. 

Main activities: 

• Familiarize with the methodologies, techniques and tools used for the existing Architecture, Design and Integration of Electrical systems in the State-of-the-Art Airbus Aircrafts by leveraging the experience of the Electrical Modellers 
• Understand and decompose the needs and requirements driving the Hydrogen powered aircrafts by connecting with the Electrical architects 
• Acknowledge and Rationalize the elements of the Product Digital twin that shall be envisaged in the Electrical system of the future using Model Based System Engineering approach by liaising with the engineers working on MBSE and Digital twin 
• Analyze and identify the appropriate tool-sets and chains to be used in this process taking support of the documentation from the past research on Electrical systems 
• Streamline and document the process adopted and the improvisations warranted from the existing process to satisfy the demands of the new product 
• Synthesise and document the results through Models, Simulations & Reports and present the same to the SMEs across the organization 

Skills: 

• Strong Engineering Fundamentals, particularly on Electrical Engineering primarily on Electrical Power Generation, Distribution, Energy Storage and Electrical Machines 
• Knowledge of Aircraft Electrical architecture, basic Aircraft behavior and systems 

AIRBUS INDIA OPERATIONS

• Knowledge of simulation and modelling using CAMEO, 3DX, Matlab, SCADE, Rhapsody (Sysml)), Magicdraw etc. (at least one modelling languages) Knowledge of programming in C /C++ / Matlab /Simulink / Python 5. Strong interpersonal skills to connect with several modelers, specialists and experts to collaborate and engage with them in order to find the appropriate solutions 

Specialization/Stream: Candidates with specialization in Electrical Engineering with deep interest in Aircraft Electrics or Aerospace Engineers in strong pursuit of Aircraft Electrics with good knowledge on Model Based System Engineering are welcome.
