Position Overview:

Boeing India HR Services team is currently looking for a Lead - HR Operations to join their team in Bangalore, India. This team seeks a highly-skilled and motivated individual.

This is an individual contributor position in a growing global organization. The individual will partner with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to expand our service delivery model while ensuring service delivery excellence to all business partners.

The ideal candidate must enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment. He or she must be flexible to accommodate business requirements that span multiple time zones, working with diverse groups and cultures will be an added advantage. The ability to multi task & delivers within timelines is essential. Practical knowledge of HR tools like Workday, Service now (Ticketing tool) has is preferred. Special projects/assignments and support of Enterprise may also be required in this position. The candidate also will have strong communications skills & HR acumen. He or she must be able to maintain positive relationships with leadership and all levels of the organization.

Position Responsibilities:

The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Implements new or revised co-wide programs on policy across BUs; develop co-wide plans and schedules for HR processes; assigns, schedules, coordinates and reviews the work of others.
  • Serves as mentor to others or team leader within the department/organization. Partners with business unit partners to define HR policy and procedures and to interpret federal and state regulations. Serves as mentor to others or team leader within the department/organization.
  • Advises management and expert in determining the scope and purpose of project. Leads the development of a detailed statement of work that documents the deliverables, objectives, budget, activities required, and schedule. Defines the resources required to accomplish tasks.
  • Develops alternative plans as needed when faced with obstacles or setbacks. Monitors and provides status of project. Serve as mentor to others or team leader within the department/organization.
  • Coaches and counsel’s management on interpretation and application on HR processes and services of a complex nature to support strategic and tactical direction of organization.
  • Develops, deploys, and administers customer satisfaction surveys to identify improvement opportunities and support strategic and tactical direction of organization.
  • Audits transactions to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures and all applicable laws/regulations. Delivers products and services that consistently meet or exceed expectations with little or no rework required; produces and uses metrics and tools to manage quality and identifies root causes.
  • Strives for continuous quality improvements. Provides customer technical requirements in support of deliver of new or enhanced products.
  • Coordinates, monitors and evaluates work performed by vendors in conjunction with deployment of HR services. Evaluates work performed by vendors. Initiates corrective action plans based on evaluation.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Minimum of 12-16 years’ of relevant experience
  • Background with HR Operations or HR Shared Services
  • Building Positive Relationships
  • Strong and Effective Communication
  • Customer Focus
  • Analytical Skills
  • Lean Six Sigma projects completed, if any.
  • Global Business Support

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience with HR Shared Service with a Global Business Services setup in any organization is strongly desired

Typical Education & Experience:

  • Typically, 12-16 years related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. bachelor, master, etc.) preferred but not required.
