Job Description

You will lead a team to ensure optimum performance of HVAC systems in Hamad International Airport (HIA) facilities, and support preventive & corrective maintenance in collaboration with other teams.

• You will support variety of projects with the knowledge of facilities, design input, and stakeholder management.
• You will act as a subject matter expert in all HVAC related subjects, and advise management on technical matters.
• You will apply technical expertise in collaboration with teams across the airport to ensure optimum performance of HVAC systems in critical and non-critical facilities across the airport under the auspices of MATAR FM.
• You will manage contractors as per established agreement to implement preventive maintenance regime in airport facilities, reduces downtime, and increases operating efficiencies of the HVAC systems with the knowledge of latest industry practices.
• You will plan and coordinate with stakeholders to mitigate impact on airport operation during preventive, corrective maintenance, and major activities related to HVAC systems.
• You will support ongoing and expansion projects with technical knowledge, share knowledge of existing systems, and review impact of HVAC infrastructures.
• You will liaise with contractors and consultants to review designs, material submittals and testing/commissioning for a wide spectrum of projects, and escalate to management if necessary.
• You will conduct site inspections, and support snag/defect rectification process to ensure that all projects are delivered according to MATAR expectations.

Qualifications

About you:-

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience
• Experience with large-scale district cooling systems and HVAC systems
• Previous work experience in complex and demanding environment
• Experience engaging with multiple stakeholder at any given time
• Track record of supporting large and complex projects.
