Boeing India Defense Private Limited is currently looking for Lead Subject Matter Expert – Observer to join their team in P8I Training Solution, INS Rajali Arakkonam. This team seeks a highly-skilled and motivated individual as Subject Matter Expert on Mission operations of P8I aircraft to support this Training Contract.

He or she must have experience working with diverse groups and cultures and be flexible to accommodate business requirements that span multiple time zones and may require travel. The ability to think strategically and translate that thinking to operations is essential. The candidate also will have strong leadership, communications, and project management skills. He or she must be able to maintain positive relationships with leadership and all levels of the organization and external suppliers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting all training activities related to the Training Center. Subject Matter Expert will be accountable to Boeing onsite Training Manager in support of this Training Center.

Position Responsibilities:

Responsibilities are mentioned below and are not limited to it:

• Member of local Indian team to support the development, design and implementation of P-8I training material using a variety of media and training devices.  
• Co-ordination and working with cross functional teams across Boeing to determine customer requirements and guides, develop, produce and deliver training courses and materials to satisfy customer requirements.
• Support the Indian Navy P-8I customer by assisting in the development of P-8I Aircrew training materials to ensure a successful integration of P-8I Integrated Training Center at INS Rajali.
• Support the development of Aircrew Training Plan and better understanding of how the Indian Navy operates
• Conduct analyses and evaluate customer training needs to determine appropriate training content, objectives and design for P-8I Aircrew Training Devices.
• Support Mission Team Training Device instructor led training sessions.
• Support Classroom instructor led training sessions.
• Support Mission Team Training Device Scenario development and understanding various missions of Indian Navy.
• Mentors other team members.
• Works under minimal direction.
• Ability to communicate clearly and ensure performance of assigned responsibilities and tasks as a Subject Matter Expert to support Training Solution.
• Ensure service is executed in accordance with contract requirements.
• Identify and resolve any issues and provide solutions and or recommendations to ensure the successful completion of the contract.
• Make the customer and their needs a primary focus. Respond quickly to meet customer needs and resolve problems; assist other team members in implementing ways to monitor and evaluate customer concerns.
• Cross-functional communication betweencustomer and internal Boeing P-8I program personnel

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate may be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Should be eligible to work in India.
• Should have experience on Mission systems related to Airborne Reconnaissance and Anti-Submarine warfare.
• Should have experience in working with MS Office Suite.
• Should have system based working knowledge of aircraft
• Should have knowledge on Training and Simulation Software to give a world class training experience for Crew of some of the most advanced airplanes in the sky.
• Should have minimum 08 years of experience as Mission Operator Instructor on P8I/ Maritime Reconnaissance Anti-Submarine Warfare aircraft
• Bachelor’s degree or higher

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Ideal candidate must have the ability to function in a demanding, on call, around the clock environment.
• Prior knowledge/ experience working with Indian Navy will be an advantage.

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 13 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+12 years' related work experience.)
