Job Description

- Systems Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and integration of Avionics Cockpit Suite to various Military Fixed wing/ rotary wing aircrafts. Contributes actively through all the phases of the product lifecycle including preliminary design, development, certification and product support.
- The ideal candidate has a desire for continual learning with excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills,  self-motivated, innovative, well-organized, able to handle and prioritize multiple assignments, able to communicate effectively both orally and written and able to work effectively across several different functional areas in a collaborative environment.


Job Responsibilities 
· Actively contributes to all aspects of the System Design and verification activities through the program lifecycle. 
· Collaborates with Chief Systems Engineer and Senior Engineers in the team to deliver through SOI-1 to SOI-4 stages of Systems engineering activities.
· Working knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodology
· Familiarity with SysML or other MBSE tools to support to the systems engineering team
· Actively identify and report/resolve obstacles to minimize disruption to the systems test efforts to ensure smooth project operations while focusing on scope and risk
· Interface with entire program team, domain engineers and support change management related to Systems activities. 
· Analyze data gathered and develop solutions or alternative methods of proceeding to optimize performance and increase efficiency for systems verification activities

Key qualifications we look for in our Systems Engineering team:
· Experience/Familirity with the Collins Aerospace Pro Line Fusion architectures.
· Knowledge of System Engineering activities such as design, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, systems integration and certification
· knowledge of SAE ARP 4761 and 4754A.
· Advanced knowledge with test planning documents and test execution tools
· Aircraft systems knowledge with the following:
o Human / machine interface (HUDs, displays and controls)
o Weapons systems
o Sensor systems
o Navigation
o Intelligence and surveillance
o Voice and data communications, including datalink
o Information assurance
o Flight controls and autopilot systems
· Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) development method
· Adaptable to changes in assignments and responsibilities.
· Highly self-motivated and contributing to a positive work environment.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Works successfully in team-centric environments.

    Basic Qualifications
    · Bachelor’s degree(BE/B.Tec) and 3+ years of prior relevant experience
    · Experience with systems, software and hardware development in an avionics application.
    · Familiarity with tools such as TLDB, TNT, ACS, CSE, JIRA, ALM, DOORS, Jama, Subversion, and PREP.
    · Ability to break down and execute complex tasks with minimal instructions.
    · Willing to taking ownership of tasks and lead efforts spanning multiple internal and external stakeholders.
    · Keen aptitude for technical work that spans multiple levels of detail.
