Job Description

To support the core functional planning tasks within the Maintenance Programmes and Configuration sections for all aircraft types, engines and components ensuring continued support with the preparation, technical auditing, analysis, verification, regulatory and performance reporting of key airworthiness tasks and engineering data integrity. Define inventory data of all aircraft parts, tooling and equipment ensuring that the Emirates fleet is maintained to the required standards of quality and airworthiness in accordance with the regulatory authority and Engineering Procedures Manual.

 

 Job Outline:

- Support the continuous development and optimization of the EK Aircraft, Engine and Component Maintenance Program (AMP). Review and issue amendments/revisions on a periodical basis to meet Airworthiness Authorities? legal requirements, manufacturer recommendations and company requirement and assist in the set up of technical documents and Special Engineering Work Cards (SEWC) and Engineering Orders (EO) for all aircraft and component modifications.

- Facilitate the engine and Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) induction process to ensure an engine or APU is fully compliant when returning from a workshop or overhaul input or when inducting a lease engine into the company.

- Organise the creation, revision and administration of configuration model for all aircraft fleet types, engines and landing gears. Incorporate new models and maintenance groupings as defined by the engineers into the Ultramain configuration modules accurately and in a timely manner. Ensure that any and all anomalies are escalated as appropriate for review and action.

- Implement basic data control definition creation from Interpretation of IPC, CMM, EO/SB and other technical documents from Aircraft Maintenance Data to setup Part basic & Part relationship, Family update and Kit Contents via IDC-Workflow (PBR/PRA). Ensuring basic re-order model definition within Ultramain, keeping in view the latest or preferred part numbers. Assist with the generation of reports from BO/Ultramain associated with Data control.

- Compile periodic reviews of the serviceable component receipts to ensure compliance with Workscope and Maintenance Requirements as appropriate.

- Deliver special tasks requested and/or due recording the necessary updates in Ultramain to maintain a record of component work carried out as well as the modification standards of all component receipts.

- Maintain documentation review and release in accordance with company procedures, SOPs and other work instructions, actioning workflows within the SLA and assign all reviews and escalations to the Officers and/or Engineers for validation and/or resolution where required.

- Provide day to day supervision of Maintenance Programmes & Configuration Assistants

Qualifications & Experience

Engineering.Other :

 

 - 12 Years schooling or equivalent 'A level standard

- 10 Years schooling or equivalent 'O level standard may be considered with minimum 6 yrs experience

- Min. 4 Years in Maintenance Planning / Technical Records or other associated Technical Support organisation - Supervisory experience is an advantage Knowledge/skills: Job Holder must be fully conversant with Aircraft documentation and records including AMM, IPC, Work Packages and Maintenance Schedules plus:

- Understanding of Aircraft / Power Plant Systems and Components.

- Sound knowledge of computer applications (e.g. MS Office)

- Knowledge & use of Airline / MRO M&E Data Management & Digital Documentations Systems is preferred

- Knowledge & experience in the application & administration of Aircraft Regulatory & Legislation requirements associated with Airworthiness Compliance & Management
