The Role:

  • Responsible for supporting IndiGo bilateral requirements and regulatory requirements.
  • Assess emerging international and domestic air transport policies and analyze other airlines' competitive and alliance activities. 
  • Apprise management of the impact of international policies and activities on IndiGo commercial objectives.
  • Interact with Network Planning to collect the relevant data pertaining to Origin and Destination, Supply and Demand, Code share Traffic and recommend the required timeline plan to enhance the traffic rights entitlements through monthly reports
  • Conducting long term analysis of economic, political, social and airline industry trends that are relevant to an airline based in India while ensuring the assets of IndiGo i.e., Designation, traffic rights, frequencies, routing rights are always safe guarded.
  • Support efforts to obtain aeropolitical and regulatory approvals from the governments concerned for traffic rights and other regulatory approvals. Contribute to the overall development and management of code share relationships. Participate in the negotiation bilateral air services negotiations
  • Maintain productive relationships with civil aviation authorities, with a view to securing maximum commercial and aeropolitical benefit
  • Support special projects and key assignments on a regular basis  

 

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must have a post graduate degree in Management or Law
  • At least 4 years of experience working in an airline or airline consulting environment. Should have rounded knowledge about the airline industry and airline operations. 
  • Candidate needs to have good communication and writing skills with strong negotiation skills.
  • Should be able to demonstrate high level of autonomy while handling assigned projects  
  • Should be able to handle multiple tasks at a time, with ability to sustain pressure.
  • Regularly evaluate department processes, and provide recommendations to AVP- Aeropolitical & Airline Partnerships
  • Must be adept with Microsoft Office i.e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint
