Job Description

As a Manager Crew Training Compliance (MCTC), you report to the Head of Crew Training (HOCT). MCTC is a role that requires management of all Pilot/Cabin Crew Training related, strategic and operational regulatory matters across all the functional areas. To serve this role he/she should have: 

  • Comprehensive subject matter expertise, deep technical and operational knowledge of all pilot and cabin crew operational aircraft standard operating procedures, EY Operations Manuals, Cockpit/Cabin Operation Safety Procedures and Fleet Operations Policies and procedures.
  • Deep working understanding of GCAA regulations such as CAR-OPS 1, CAR-AIR OPS, CAR Cabin Crew, CAR Flight Crew Licensing, other international regulations across EY network such as EASA and FAA, and IOSA standards & Recommended Practices.
  • Wide ranging knowledge of Pilot and Cabin crew training, Crew Training Programs, Evidence-Based Training, Safety Management System (including risk management & Hazard identification for the cockpit and cabin environment) & flight crew and cabin crew safety reporting system.

Accountabilities

  • Responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance of all Pilot and Cabin crew training in accordance with GCAA and any applicable foreign authority regulations.
  • Responsible for maintaining the GCAA approved Operations Manual Part D and policies and procedures for Pilot and Cabin crew training.
  • Ensuring highest standards are achieved for compliance management and effective management of the applicable Audit’s (GCAA, IOSA & Internal) for Pilot and Cabin crew training.
  • Responsible for all compliance audits required for Pilot and Cabin crew training by GCAA, IOSA & Internal and manage root cause analyses and implementing corrective actions in response to any audit findings.
  • Manage all day-to-day operational regulatory matters across the functional areas of Pilot and Cabin Crew Training.
  • Develop and manage risk assessments, ensuring proper mitigating actions and effective controls are set in place, in addition to monitoring of their timely closure for Pilot and Cabin Crew Training.
  • Manage departmental projects, business improvement ventures and tasks, as assigned by HOCT

Education & Experience

  • ATPL holder with minimum of 10 years of experience in Airline operations & Training environment and is familiar with Pilot and Cabin Crew training requirements and the GCAA rules that govern them.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a university or equivalent desired
  • Knowledge of the company culture, extensive knowledge of MS Office O365 applications.
