The role will be responsible for maintaining, developing, and improving current Order Management capabilities within the group for the Aerospace Business. It will ensure deployment of consistent work practices across sites. Provide actionable intelligence around opportunities within the transaction group. Develop and mentor team members on current processes and updates.

The incumbent will be part of Aerospace CS Pune team and work in tandem with the local and the division leadership team to provide support on daily weekly metrics and its review for gap assessment and closure, gain thorough understanding of the Aerospace order management processes and bring in improvements. The role will also be responsible for managing the Business Process Transitions from the Global Site, escalation Management and creating business capabilities through people, processes and system.

This Exciting Role Offers Opportunity To

  • • Lead a team of 20 to 30 employees working on Order Management, Data Management.
  • • Coordinate with the Sites/ Stakeholders for smooth achievement of the SLA’s and any Adhoc activities received from time to time.
  • • Actively manage, coach and appraise the performance of team members. Leads, motivates and develops a team to meet expected goals and timely deliverables as defined by Aerospace LT team.
  • • Ensure the team adheres to Eaton’s values & philosophies, policies, defined processes and busines practices and procedures.
  • • Leads the daily/weekly status meeting with site CSR’s/SPOC’s to understand work load and allocate resources to support activities. Provide assignments to team members to manage and clearly communicate expected results to maintain sustainable performance.
  • • Facilitates formulation and communication of action plans to address solutions and inform team and customers of opportunities for improvement.
  • • Gather information from the Aerospace Divisions pertaining to additional areas of support where the Pune team’s services can be utilized for Identified transition projects and assignments.
  • • Analyze and create a process map of the core competencies needed, training required, and finally implement the transfer of workload.
  • • Work on daily/weekly metrics to evaluate team performance and ensure the team meet the expected utilization levels. Additionally, ensure their appropriate backup planning on each task to manage absenteeism and Contingencies.
  • • Coach and develop team members for building Organizational capability and create the second in line leadership team ready to take higher responsibilities.
  • • Drives initiatives on process and business improvement for to set new benchmarks of success for the team.

Qualifications

  • • Any Graduate/Postgraduate, Degree in Business Administration/Operations Management preferred.
  • • At least 14 years
  • • Well versed with MS Office, Power Point, Excel, exposure to TQM, Kaizens, Basic six sigma, Operational Excellence, Operations management, Sales Order Management, Customer Service, Process management, Problem solving techniques.
  • • Planning and organizing, team management, communication skills, presentation skills, basic analytical skills, negotiation skills, collaboration, problem solving.
