Job Description

The HR Employee Experience (EX) Lead will drive human-centric thinking and design for Etihad HR services, processes, policies, tools, and technology supporting the HR proposition of ‘an employee experience as remarkedly thoughtful as our guest experience’.

In this role, you will use a range of design thinking methods and tools to capture deep insights into the moments that matter to Etihad employees and the external Talent marketplace. You will focus on applying human-centric design to drive positive experience, practical HR solutions and a ‘promoter’ employee net promoter score (eNPS) related to the delivery of HR services.

Accountabilities

  • Contribute to an overarching Talent strategy and plan to design a better employee experience in support of the Etihad employer value proposition (EVP) and to achieve the goal of an employee experience as remarkedly thoughtful as our guest experience 
  • Define personas and their journeys across the end-to-end HR lifecycle from attracting to exit.
  • Identify and prioritize the moments that matter in the interaction of Etihad employees, the external Talent marketplace, and people managers in driving a promoter eNPS in their interaction with HR services and the Etihad working environment (physical and culture)
  • Lead the discovery, analysis, design, and implementation of human-centric solutions that address identified opportunities to improve the experience and achieve a promotor eNPS in HR Services
  • Manage the employee experience user story backlog
  • Partner with internal HR teams to implement high priority employee experience user stories, for example, HR PDT team, HR Delivery Services, Strategic Comms, and the Change Management Office
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders and third-party vendors to influence human-centric design across Etihad corporate and international market processes in their interaction points that impact employee experience in HR services and processes (e.g., Finance, IT, Executive Recruiters)
  • Define and monitor employee experience metrics and ROI indicators
  • Champion a mindset of the employee experience as part of the DNA of the HR function
  • Provide expert consultative guidance for initiating strategic long-range employee experience goals and objectives

Education & Experience

  • Minimum of eight years of related work experience 
  • Advanced know how in human centric design thinking skills and ability to track and coordinate competing priorities across complex initiatives
  • High levels of empathy and ability to assimilate a diverse range of perspectives into solutions that are remarkedly thoughtful about experience, address the enterprise goals of HR, and are sustainable
  • Experience in influencing cross functional teams with indirect reporting lines
  • Experience developing strong relationships across multiple stakeholder groups at all levels of the organisation
  • HR knowledge and strong business acumen
  • Graduate degree in Human Resources, Phycology, or related field
  • Desirable to have a relevant certification in a related domain, for example UX/UI design
