Job Overview

The job involves working closely with the reporting Manager to ensure that the Financial Aspects of Planning, Provisioning and Accounting related to Engineering as taken care of and measures are incorporated to ensure that the overall compliances of organizations process and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Planning, Provisioning reports and co-ordination with Finance for the same.
• Prepare Financial Reports, Statement of Accounts (SOA) and Cost Benefit Modelling to Management related to Engineering Finance
• Data analysis related to Engineering Expenses and provide recommendations thereof for effective cost reduction and control
• Monitor, process, control, report all Engineering Financial transactions.
• Liaise with Legal, Taxation, Finance, Audits for Financial, Legal, Taxation, Customs related issues to and clarifications
• Liaise with Finance for Engineering Financial requirements and timely payments thereof, related to Customs & CHA, Vendor Invoicing and Remittances, CAPEX, OPEX with necessary MIS / Trackers
• Coordinating for Engineering vendor registration within Department and Finance and reconciliation of the same as and when required
• Engineering Budget - Integration, Finalization, Presentation, Monitoring expenditure within approved Budget and providing related MIS to Management for the same
• Coordinating with Engineering vendors for Invoices, SOA and processing Maintaining Vendor SOA, providing MIS and critical payment concerns to Sr Management

• Vendor GL codes assigning of Cost Centers basis expense type, Processing Invoices in coordination with Finance for remittance to vendors
• Maintaining physical verification reports of engineering inventory in coordination with Stores Team
• Maintaining data for monthly closure of inventory from Stores
• Preparation of imports & export data
• Keep abreast of developments in aerospace industry by attending seminars/ exhibition/ conferences
• Review of resources (Budget / Manpower / Technology / Equipment)
• Development & evaluation of in-house tools & equipment & process system upgrades
• Tasks as assigned by reporting Manager

Skills & Attributes

• Knowledge of Budget preparation and Management.
• Knowledge on MS Office and MS Projects.
• Knowledge of aircraft maintenance software(s), preferably Swiss – AMOS at multiple platform level
• Experienced in end to end Reporting and Risk Management and Vendor Management
• Ability to work under strict timelines, decision making, flexible timings, and relationship management.

Work Experience

• Minimum 8 years work experience in the finance domain
• Candidates having finance background in the Aviation Industry (Preferred)

Qualification

• MBA in Finance/Business Management from a recognized college/university
• Chartered Accountant (Preferable)
