Job Description

Manager- FOPS is responsible for leading the Flight Operations’ Planning & Services department which caters to all analytical, administrative & cross-divisional requirements for the Flight Operations division. The position reports to the Senior Vice President – Flight Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead crew resource planning and forecasting in line with fleet & network planning
• Jointly drive flight crew hiring and on boarding initiatives with HR
• Manage crew grievance redressal and feedback
• Facilitate crew logistics – HOTAC, transport, uniform, AEP, visa, etc.
• Manage crew communication and leadership connects – newsletter, base visits, Flight Ops get-togethers, refresher meets etc.
• Manage crew progression & selections for crew positioning, upgrades, fleet movement etc - manage IJPs & selection committees
• Be responsible for updating and adherence of Crew Administrative Manual
• Lead crew/division analytics and reporting with respect to productivity and utilization of KPIs
• Drive divisional financial services that include budgeting, crew payroll, financial control & approval papers impacting financials
• Drive divisional IT services – digital roadmap, IT project tracking, periodic IT Flight Ops review
• Facilitate and support divisional R&R

Work Experience

• Minimum 4 years of work experience (if Graduate) with at least 1 year of management experience
• Minimum 2 years of work experience (if MBA)
• Preferred 1 year of work experience in data driven strategic decision-making roles
• Preferred 1 year of relevant aviation experience

Qualification

• Graduate, preferably from a tier A recognized college/university
• MBA from tier A/B recognized college/university is preferred
