Job Description

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

To manage and control the overall activities of the stores in relation to process, adherence to functional specification, procedures and operation and ensure compliance with flydubai policies and procedures verifying quantity, quality and efficiency.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Key Responsibilities

  • Assists in managing and controlling spare parts, tools and equipment in compliance with flydubai  standards and requirements.
  • Oversees the daily operation of assigned warehouse functions and continuously monitors the procedures to ensure they are always in accordance with codes and standards. Acts as the Department’s representative with financial auditors and regulatory authorities.
  • Establishes process and procedures commensurate to the business requirement, compliance and drive improvements.
  • Documents regulatory changes and instruction for conformance to incoming materials inspection, binning, issue of materials and returns.
  • Reviews the related activities with Engineering/Maintenance, Materials, Finance, Health & Safety, Training etc.in compliance with flydubai and Regulatory authorities’ rules and regulation.
  • Conducts perpetual inventory check, shelf-life control checks, hazmat material control, scrap control, self-audits & accountability with analysis of discrepancy reports and plan permanent resolution of discrepancy cause.
  • Ensures that all store records are diligently maintained and that business management reports are available as and when required (including value, volume and usage reporting).
  • Controls flydubai assets as per the regulatory requirement in a cost-effective manner giving priority to space optimization.
  • Manages overall operations within the approved budget, manpower utilization, job allocation, job rotation and space management. Coordinates the activities internally and externally with Maintenance, Materials; Engineering dept. and suppliers.
  • Maintains accurate on hand stock count, staff discipline and housekeeping.
  • Ensures a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
  • Demonstrates understanding of how to: 
    - Manage third parties involved in maintenance activity
    - Properly accomplish maintenance tasks
    - Prioritize tasks and report discrepancies
    - Process the work requested by the operator
    - Split complex maintenance tasks into clear stages
    - Manage resources and plan productions
    - Work in a team collaboratively, make good decisions and show leadership skills
    - Promote safety and quality policy
    - Control and be familiar with required tooling and/or equipment
    - Use Information systems
  • Demonstrates knowledge of:
    - Human factors, performance and limitations
    - His/Her own human performance and Limitations
    - Required qualifications for task performance
    - Logistics processes
    - CAR-M,CAR-145 and other relevant regulations
    - Relevant parts of the maintenance organization exposition & procedures
    - Occurrence reporting system and the importance of reporting occurrences, incorrect maintenance data and existing or potential defects
    - Safety risks linked to the working environment
    - CDCCL & EWIS when relevant
    - Critical maintenance task
    - Work orders
    - Work cards and refer to and use applicable maintenance data
  • Possesses:
    - Professional integrity, and an appropriate behaviour and attitude towards safety

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree  (or equivalent) 

Education / Experience Specific Requirements

  • Any additional qualification related to Materials management, PMP preferred 
  • Preferred No. of Years (with Relevant Degree) - 7
  • Preferred No. of Years (without Relevant Degree - if applicable) - 10

Systems, Licensing, Language or Certification Requirements

  •  Knowledge of the AMOS system

ISR Requirements
Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day to day business operations.
