Job Description

The Manager Training Compliance (MTC) is responsible for the effective management of the ATOs’ Audit Plan & Programme. MTC is also responsible for managing the Compliance Documentation system and supporting the Compliance Monitoring Manager in ensuring regulatory compliance, in accordance with GCAA, EASA, and applicable foreign competent authority regulations for all approved training organisations.

Accountabilities

• Develop, design, and manage the organisation’s internal audit activities, in compliance with GCAA, EASA and applicable competent authority requirements, including planning, implementation and reporting.
• Manage the compliance documentation system to ensure effective control, and compliance with internal processes and regulatory requirements, including accessibility, storage, and maintenance
• Manage all aspects of EATs ACTVET approval and liaison with government entities with regard to obtaining and maintaining applicable approvals.
• Contribute to departmental budget planning, manpower development and improvement of business processes in line with strategic objectives and set KPIs
• Regularly risk assessing the compliance standards, areas of best practice, systemic deficiencies, audit performance, and make recommendations for improvement to senior management
• Manage departmental projects, and business improvement ventures, as assigned by CMM
• Support CMM by liaising with competent authorities and customers as required, propose innovative compliance monitoring initiatives, and deputise for CMM as necessary
• Assume deputisation-related responsibilities in the absence of the CMM

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognised university (or equivalent experience), and current auditing qualification
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in aviation operations or aviation training environment
