Job Description

The position should be an ATPL or an engineer with aviation experience of at least 6 years preferably 2 years of Safety and Quality experience.

The position

• Ensure effective implementation and application of Safety Management System across departments. 
• Ensure maintaining Risk Register and QA records.
• Ensure timely preparation, and conduct of the yearly Audit Plan. 
• Liaise with departments, DGCA, and external agencies for all matters related to audits and SMS.
• Ensure maintenance of records of all internal audits, inspections, surveillance
• Ensure timely completion of activities related to the accident prevention program.
• Function as a member of the safety audit team whenever required.  
• Ensure safety and quality data analysis.
• Ensure that timely records of meetings are maintained and follow-up on actionable. 
• Ensure compliance issues with respect to Regulatory requirements. 
• Setting up safety performance targets, and safety performance indicators, and taking necessary actions. 
• Assist in the preparation of the annual departmental budget 
• Ensure proper maintenance of the Document management system.  
• Ensure timely preparation and publication of safety Circulars / Journal / Bulletin and maintain records for the same.  
• Ensure follow-up with departments for timely closure of SAFA & Regulatory surveillance reports. 
• Function as a member of the safety audit team whenever detailed. 
• Liaise with the audit organization and internally with departments to ensure the conduct of IOSA. 
• Any other duties assigned from time to time by the Chief of Flight Safety and Deputy Chief of Flight Safety (SMS & QA)
