Responsibilities:

• Study project requirements and work alongside Sourcing team to align on deliverables 
• Demonstrate excellent collaboration & communication skills (written, oral, and social) with internal teams and manufacturing supplier network
• Develop a roadmap for mistake-proofing in manufacturing and integrate it with project planning.
• Ensure early understanding of manufacturing constraints and pass on specific boundary conditions to help with efficient Sourcing 
• Simulate the manufacturing sequence and operations including takt time, rework time, testability, traceability etc. for the projects
• Work with the suppliers for the execution of the projects ensuring delivery as per required quality, timeline and cost.
• Work with manufacturing partners to optimize the design, cost and suggest alternatives that meet key requirements of the client.
• Data management (MIS, SOPs, Contracts, supplier SLAs), knowledge management (Case studies), reporting & analysis. 
• Participate in all project reviews and meetings related to project status, challenges, and Manufacturing Partner management issues.
• Work with the Sourcing team for vendor audits, release vendor ratings and do timely visits (50 - 70 % roughly travel per month)  to the facilities of the manufacturing partners across India.

Eligibility:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Production/Plastics/Automotive/Aerospace Engineering
• Minimum 2-4 years of industry experience in CNC Machining/Sheet Metal, Stamping & Tubular/Plastics (Injection Moulding, Thermoforming, Rapid Prototyping) or related operations. Candidates having wide knowledge in program execution and process improvement with supplier partners are given preference.
• Required knowledge of Risk Management / DFMEA / APQP / DFQ / Design Transfer / Design for Manufacturing (DfM) / Lean Methodologies / 5-Why / Problem Solving techniques.
• Sound understanding of manufacturing variation and control techniques (PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC).
• Technical knowledge of engineering design, experience with CAD software (AutoCAD and Solidworks). 
• Experience in managing projects and understanding of six-sigma principles
• Experience in New Product Development is considered as a merit.
• Location: Mumbai (Ready to relocate as per the business requirement)
• Immediate joining preferable
