Your Role

You will be responsible for attracting customers from the market and maintaining strong relationships with them. You will have to ensure that Kuehne+Nagel is in a strong position to participate and win national, regional, and/or global RFQs, tenders, or bids.

Your Responsibilities

  • National development of the Industry inline with National / Regional and Global strategies of Kuehne+Nagel.
  • Developing an efficient portfolio of large customers by creating trust relationships and with solution mindset approach.
  • Complies with Kuehne+Nagel Sales Management Processes and systems by ensuring correct and timely updates in the systems.
  • Mapping the supply chain flow of the customers and creating value propositions accordingly.
  • Tender Management
  • Project Management
  • Leading the customer engagement process at onboarding and implementation phases to ensure a strong engagement of the company and customers
  • Leading MBR / QBR meetings with the strategic clients
  • Engagement with Regional & Global Key Account Management Teams to leverage the success of the industry and create efficiency with the appointed customers.

Your Skills And Experiences

  • Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or a similar discipline
  • Minimim 5-7 years' experience in Sales and Account Management experience in the freight forwarding industry, with a focus on Consumer and High-Tech vertical
  • Willingness to work in a team, able to drive business and potential to come with business solutions
  • Powers of persuasion, diplomatic panache, excellent communication skills in English and outstanding performance in closing deals
  • Strong leadership skills, with a focus on professional and personal staff development
