Job Description

We are looking for a OCC Manager to manage the OCC Department and ensure that Aircraft operations (flight release, flight following, arrival and post-flight processing duties) are conducted in a safe, timely and efficient manner, in accordance with regulatory compliance and company procedures. . 

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Directly responsible for the management and oversight of Jazeera OCC Department.
• Work closely with the OCC teams in the shifts to ensure each flight is properly planned and executed.
• Ensure that all the J9 flights are being monitored, coordinate for changes and deviations (if required) to ensure the most efficient use of resources while maintaining safety.
• Manages the OCC team for responding to any disruption in flight plan to ensure optimum utilization of fleet and effective crew movement and changes.
• Assist to implement and review all OCC SOPs, manuals to ensure that they are in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure information is communicated to crew members and other stakeholders regarding all situations that arise.
• Mentor OCC employees to assess technical performance of the team members, provide inputs as necessary, and improve performance standards.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree or Graduate.
• Flight Dispatcher License from a FAA/EASA/GAA approved Flight School.
• Excellent computer skills, particularly in the use of MS-Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.
• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Flight Dispatcher and atleast 3 years in a managerial role in OCC.
