Job Description

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

To administer and conduct English Language Proficiency (ELP) assessments for flight crew in accordance with GCAA CAR Ops to maintain their license.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures that all candidates are assigned the correct ELP tests to organize all test materials on the appropriate test days.
  • Conducts invigilation activities during the test days to maintain the sanctity of the examination process and addresses any technical issues.
  • Assesses and evaluates all candidates’ performance during the assessment.
  • Communicates evaluation results and provides instructions to the candidates on how to raise grievances regarding their assessment.
  • Liaises and reports any discrepancy/issues discovered in the test script to test provider for prompt resolution.
  • Produces and distributes language proficiency certificates and sends it to relevant Flight Operations administrator.
  • Provides monthly test statistics to GCAA licensing. 
  • Reviews and screens relevant candidate documentation under flydubai ATO.
  • Additional task as assigned by Manager- Ground Training

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

Minimum Education Level Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in English Literature

Experience Specific Requirements

  • Preferred No. of Years (with Relevant Degree) - 2

Systems, Licensing, Language or Certification Requirements

  • Language translator, Teacher (Preferred)

ISR Requirements
Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day to day business operations.
