Job Description

• Analyse and determine the training needs of QAS operational departments in collaboration with the Line Managers and trainers based on operations critical activities and in compliance with Safety, Security and Quality standards in order to improve the productivity and quality of work.
• Manage and update different types of visual tools (videos, photos, virtual reality) by learning new technology, which will help in the in-depth understanding of the trainings being delivered.
• Develop, implement and conduct training programmes with special emphasis given to ground handling activities in Airside to ensure employee knowledge and skill requirements are met.
• In conjunction with Manager Training, ensure training delivery matches business objectives, operating plans and complies with Safety, Security & Quality requirements.
• Ensure reporting trainers are fully competent in the areas of their specialization, which will support in the granting of authorisation to conduct trainings/courses or issue licenses required in the operations.
• Assist and monitor the performance improvement of Training Department team members and Department’s Mentors by setting/suggesting goals and objectives aligned with the company’s own goals and objectives.

Qualifications

About you :

• An ideal candidate will have a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree and 7 years of job-related experience.
• Experience in ground handling related activities in Airside as a Trainer, Training Specialist, Assistant Training Manager or Manager.
• Ability to measure and assess employee training needs
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage with Senior Management
• Knowledgeable in Safety and Security procedures
• Improve the overall performance of Mentors and Training Department team members

• Managing and developing trainers/employees
• Managing and developing needed projects
• An understanding of marketing and advertising strategies
• Business planning and business development experience
• Managing within a training, education or learning environment, managing and developing trainers/employees
