Managing aircraft maintenance Planning, forecast and compliances.
Key Accountabilities
Ensure that aircraft maintenance is carried out in accordance with an approved Aircraft Maintenance Program and all maintenance requirements are performed, therefore ensuring continued airworthiness of customer aircraft.
Manage all maintenance activities such as scheduled checks, technical directives, component changes, re-inspection of Required Inspection Items (RII) and carry over items, AD and SB compliance, etc. Ensure that all parts are being requested to be available before all planned maintenance events.
Management of short term, long-term and heavy maintenance plans and make necessary changes required to support operator and company’s objectives and negotiation of the Heavy Maintenance plans.
Manage and coordinate planned maintenance activities to be performed by in-house Line and Base personnel and outside contract agencies
Work directly with Maintenance and Repair Organizations (MROs) and regulatory authorities to ensure that the Company’s processes and procedures are understood and properly implemented.
Determine requirements for taking aircraft out of service and publish a monthly Maintenance Schedule Plan for the short term and long-term events.
Review the aircraft tracking document to ensure maintenance is accomplished and records are updated in a timely manner.
Make sure the Technical Records are being organized in a manner where the traceability of data is fast and easy.
Ensure recording, preservation, controlling, archiving and retrieving of continuous airworthiness records and delivery documents. Administer all aircraft technical records and associated archives as per regulatory requirement.
Ensure the Certificate of Airworthiness Packages are prepared and ready to be submitted at the scheduled time.
Development and writing processes and procedures as required for the improvement of the aircraft maintenance planning process/strategies.
Qualifications/Requirements
Knowledge
Aircraft Engineering experience.
Project Management.
Aircraft Planning Experience.
Airworthiness and Regulations Experience
Education
BS Degree Aircraft, Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Certifications
A320 formalization or Type ratings, CFM engines certifications are preferred.
Experience
Have minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar role in an Aircraft maintenance environment.
