Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Power Plant Technical Services Engineer that will be responsible for providing technical support services to power plant and APU systems and accessories, including engine and APU condition monitoring to join our Engineering Team.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provides troubleshooting recommendations to Maintenance Provider for rectification of aircraft defects beyond the parameters of aircraft or engine maintenance manuals. Coordinates with the aircraft, engine or component manufacturer as required by operations in order to maintain every aircraft in service.
• Monitors and reviews Engine Shop Level Reliability Program in coordination with the Reliability Section. Facilitates investigations, provides analysis, and implements solutions on reliability issues affecting fleet operations including recommendation and monitoring of spare level of engine, APU and propeller blades to ensure continuous and undisrupted operation.
• Establishes processes and provisions to ensure that each aircraft’s engines are performing to its optimum parameters through the monitoring of engine conditions and trends. It includes the monitoring and controlling of engine and APU registration to third party subscription.
• Recommends additional tasks (inspection, modification, repair) during the preparation of work scope for engine and APU, as necessary.
• Shall be responsible for the checking of non-mandatory engineering documents.
• Shall check the compliance of scheduled and unscheduled Jazeera Airways maintenance programs relating to Powerplant and APU.
• Shall document provisions for accomplished reports through applicable documentations / databases.
• Shall strictly monitor the reviewed AD’s, SB’s and related program for compliance
• To proactively observe any potential hazards / risks within Engineering Department activities and report to immediate superior or Safety Officer accordingly.
• Complies with an applicable regulations and standards of Jazeera Airways, actively involve with Safety Management Systems by reporting all accidents, incidents, and any hazard in the work place; and being safety conscious by exerting duty of care in the performance of duties. 

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent Aircraft Engineering Licenses.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English. 
• Minimum 2 years work experience in related field.
• Knowledge of EASA Part M, EASA Part 145 and KUWAIT DGCA regulations.
• Comprehensive knowledge, in respect to aircraft regulations and standards applicable to Jazeera fleet.
• Ability to read and demonstrate knowledge from technical publications.
• Knowledge in Airline application-based ERP system.
