Job Description

Systems Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and integration of Avionics  Cockpit Suite to various Military Fixed wing/ rotary wing aircrafts. Contributes actively through all the phases of the product lifecycle including preliminary design, development, certification and product support.

The ideal candidate has a desire for continual learning with excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills,  self-motivated, innovative, well-organized, able to handle and prioritize multiple assignments, able to communicate effectively both orally and written and able to work effectively across several different functional areas in a collaborative environment.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Directs all aspects of the System Design and verification activities through the program lifecycle. 
  • Oversees and coordinates the administrative and operational aspects of systems test/verification activities
  • Deploy Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodology
  • Provide MBSE/SysML expertise and related support to the systems engineering team
  • Lead a local team of MBSE Engineers, provide direction of tasks and assignments.
  • Mentor MBSE team members about MBSE processes and how to use MBSE tools.
  • Track progress, identify and resolve obstacles to minimize disruption to the systems test efforts to ensure smooth project operations while managing scope and risk
  • Interface with program management, software engineers, and customers to set up successful test campaigns. 
  • Analyze data gathered and develop solutions or alternative methods of proceeding to optimize performance and increase efficiency for systems verification activities

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree(BE/B.Tec) and 10 years of prior relevant experience OR
  • Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 8 years’ experience
  • Experience with systems, software and hardware development in an avionics application.
  • Familiarity with tools such as TLDB, TNT, ACS, CSE, JIRA, ALM, DOORS, Jama, Subversion, and PREP.
  • Ability to break down and execute complex tasks with minimal instructions.
  • Experience taking ownership of tasks and lead efforts spanning multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Keen aptitude for technical work that spans multiple levels of detail.
