Job Description

List of Responsibility :

Quality

  • Development and maintenance of Business Quality System policies and procedures
  • Management of the Quality Audit Program
  • Monitoring of contracted service providers to ensure standards are met
  • Liaison with Department Managers on Non-Conformance, Compliance and Deficiencies
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of the Quality system
  • Provide appropriate reports to Accountable Managers/Senior Managers on the performance of the Quality System
  • Liaise with contracted goods and service suppliers regarding quality issues
  • Manage the Non-Conformance process
  • Act as focal point for all Quality related communications and accreditations
  • Manage Aircraft Maintenance processes
  • Perform other works as required by the Managing Director
  • Incident investigation and PPS
  • Maintain and revise AHA’s documentation and publications

Safety

  • Recommend, formulate and implement Safety policy and procedures
  • Establish and communicate a detailed Safety Plan
  • Perform Accident Investigations when required
    • Monitoring of Flight Operations, Ground Operations , Engineering and Maintenance activities for compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Accident prevention and Flight Safety implementation
  • Coordinate and facilitate Flight Safety Meetings
  • Coordinate and assure compliance with Risk Assessment Programs
  • Conduct annual Safety Audits
  • Investigate and Report Incidents and Accidents
  • Perform surveys and safety awareness campaigns
  • Implement, coordinate and instruct Safety related training programs.

Practical experience

  • Quality Management Systems
  • Safety Management Systems
  • Aeronautical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Aircraft Maintenance Documentation

Specialized knowledge / prerequisites

  • Negotiation level at English (Technical & Aeronautical)
  • Planning and project management
  • Change Management
  • Proficient in the application of Quality Tools (SPC, 8D etc.)
  • Ability to interpret and present data
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work within a multicultural team
  • Ability / flexibility to work and to adapt in different environments
  • Assertive and resilient person

Essential

  • University degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • At least five years in Aircraft Maintenance and Repair Organisations, preferably with Airbus Helicopters.
  • Management of Quality Control/Quality Assurance activities
  • Knowledge of International and National Civil Aviation Legislation
