Job duties
Review APQP & PPAP packages per customer requirements.
Validate program compliance with PPAP and APQP processes, including the completion of standard work activities.
Facilitate & Review reports for production parts using core tools APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, Gage R&R, PPAP, FAI, with an intense focus on PFMEA, FAI.
Support & verify PPAP documentation are inline & integrated with project master schedules.
Execute assigned, quality-related APQP team roles, such as reviewing drawings and specifications, reviewing critical-to-quality features, reviewing producer and material supplier process, tracking materials selected for PPAP requirements and related detailed schedules, etc.
AS9145 APQP / PPAP artifact generally consisting of level 3 submittal
Process flow diagram
Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) per AS13004
Control Plan per AS13006.
Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) per AS13003
AS13002 Inspection plans - verification and validation of supplier’s inspection plans and process control qualification to initiate sample inspection plans (less than 100%).
First Article Inspection Report (FAIR) per AS9102
Accept or reject report via net-inspect or Parker certified secured data sharing folder
Detailed information/ mark-up for the rejected item as required
Any quality assurance and continuous improvement documents such as checklists, root cause analysis, and lessons learned documents.
Review and approval of AS13002
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering with 5+ years of experience as a Manufacturing/Quality Aerospace Engineer
Experience in quality engineering or manufacturing engineering with in aerospace and/or automotive APQP industry.
Experience with AS9100, and/or AS9102.
Experience and competency applying all tools like APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP and facilitating APQP, DFMEA and PFMEA teams.
Manufacturing Process Planning knowledge.
Knowledge of SPC, GD&T, blueprint reading.
Experience with ISO9001, APQP, QMS, Lean/Six Sigma preferred.
Good written and communication skills.

Generation of Technical and Project management reports.
Knowledge & thorough understanding of various functions/department activities.
