Job Description

Responsible for managing an end-to-end recruitment operations team from sourcing, attracting, interviewing potential talent, capable and competent to perform the role and represent the Emirates Group Values. Formulate and implement a global recruitment plan which includes identification of destinations for conducting recruitment campaigns, roster management, partnerships with hospitality schools and contracted suppliers to consistently achieve quality outcome whilst protecting the integrity of the Emirates Group recruitment process.

Job Outline:

- Generic

  • Define and track KPIs and report to the Recruitment Manager on team performance to enhance the team's efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure personalised development plans are devised and mentoring is provided as required.
  • Identify metrics by which campaign performance can be measured and provide insights to relevant stakeholders using data gathered from different reports to drive strategies, identify challenges and recommend solutions/alternatives to attract candidates.
  • Headcount planning and monitoring based on business demand to ensure adequate and timely recruitment team staffing and training, factoring in seasonality and historic peak seasons.
  • Specific to Events, Logistics and Roster Management Team Lead
  • Responsible for planning and controlling overseas recruitment campaign activities including but not limited to hotel booking, travel expenses etc.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure success of the campaign keeping the brand and People Experience at the forefront.
  • Manage and maintain roster planning functions of the recruitment team to enhance quality of the rosters and achieve efficiency and optimal use of resources. Monitor the changing requirements of the business to ensure rosters are in line with business requirement and policies. Identify top performing markets and propose new destinations to meet business requirements.
  • Lead, guide and support a team of recruitment advisors/coordinators on various topics related to smooth management of events, preparation and submission of candidate files and offer forecast to manage stakeholder expectations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) with 5+ yrs experience OR 12 yrs schooling or equivalent with 8+ yrs experience
  • CIPD or any other HR professional certification is desirable

Knowledge/skills:

  • Minimum 2 years experience working in a leadership role with relevant experience managing a remote team and high-volume processes.
  • Experience working for a recruitment solution, ideally within the Recruitment Process Ooutsourcing (RPO) environment, in-house or agency recruiter is preferable.
  • Experience in volume operating business functions with resource/rostering and scheduling activities is an advantage
  • Experience with various selection processes (e.g. Digital Assessments, video / telephone interviewing, reference checks etc.) and/or training processes
  • Problem solving and analytical skills and ability to diagnose and drive solutions in a complex and ambiguous environment.
  • Strong experience in organizing events and/or managing resources as well as budgets efficiently will be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with HR databases, ATS systems and CMS Systems
