As the business expands, we are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Cargo Operations Team in Singapore as a Regional Cargo Operations Officer. The role includes:

• Initiating and implementing steps to improve the quality of service and operational standards of Qatar Airways Cargo
• Implementing, establishing and monitoring standard operating procedures and service level agreements with the GHA’s in the region to ensure smooth cargo operations in the region
• Monitoring and developing adherence to regulations outlined by local authorities and regulatory bodies and ensure strict compliance to IATA regulations for effective movement of inbound and outbound cargo whilst reducing operation costs and claims
• Implementing strategies to enhance services offered whilst reducing costs incurred in the region
• Monitoring the cargo handling in the region and suggesting best practices to be implemented within the region to achieve operational excellency

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent with minimum 3 years of job-related experience in operational airline functions experience required OR
• High School Qualification or equivalent with 5 years of job-related in airline functions experience
• Knowledge in Air Cargo Operations including Ramp Handling, Dangerous Goods and Live Animal Regulation, Load Control and perishable cargo handling
• Expert in Microsoft Excel with strong presentation skills
