Job Description

The Repair Specialist shall manage the repair tracking for the unserviceable parts sent out to suppliers repair stations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of open repair orders dispatched from various warehouses located worldwide to Suppliers based in Asia, Europe and USA
  • In charge of a portfolio of Suppliers through daily follow-ups, regular conference calls, weekly reviews, and on site Suppliers visits
  • Control that the Suppliers are able to return the units within the agreed timeframe; analyze reasons of delays if any, and propose process improvements where required
  • Review and validate/challenge quotations received from the Suppliers, and ensure the contract terms are respected
  • Review and validate/reject Standard Exchange, Advance Standard Exchange and Loan offers
  • Manage quarantines on parts returned from shop when applicable, analyze and report recurrent issues
  • Accurately update the data into the IT systems commonly used within FHS
  • Provide precise information on the parts status and statistics of operational events to stakeholders, based on your Suppliers portfolio
  • Prioritize AOG and Critical customer’s requests attributed to your Repair Orders
  • Engage and coordinate with the other FHS functions whenever necessary
  • Monitor and mentor the subcontractors supporting our daily administrative tasks
  • Upkeep and live by Airbus Values, Leadership Model and Code of Conduct

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma/Bachelor's Degree
  • 2 Years in Aviation Industry (Purchasing, Component Repair, Supplier Management or Customer Service)
  • Time management, well organized
  • Able to work with autonomy
  • Strong communication skills
  • Team work, team spirit
  • Solid negotiation skills
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
