Job Description

We are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Airport team in London Heathrow, UK as a Reservation and Ticketing Supervisor.

Accountabilities

  • Plan, supervise and support the reservation and ticketing staff in order to achieve optimal customer satisfaction and surpass the annual revenue targets. Encourage teamwork, consistency of service and proper coordination. 
  • Support staff and customers to resolve difficult issues pertaining to reservations and ticketing on a daily basis. Arrange reservations and routing for using timetables, airline manuals, reference guides and tariff book to encourage maximum revenue for the airline.
  • Oversee the investigation for complaints done by the team.
  • Supervise the staff, ensure quality of work meets the Airline standards, and motivate staff ti achieve positive contribution on daily basis. Ensure that the team is punctual and well-groomed and provides accurate information and appropriate counselling the customers and good follow up for all bookings. 
  • Issuance of MCO's and refunds; process lost tickets and time barred tickets. 
  • Show commitment to handle the maximum numbers of calls and passengers' whist at all the times carefully following the QR procedures to achieve a high quality of ticketing service. Guide and support the staff and keep them updated with relevant changes in the industry and QR products/services.
  • Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.
  • Perform a proper flight firming check to maximize flight utilization and reduce No-Shows. Deal with all mishandled passengers, NORECs and DNB as required each day to reduce passenger complaints.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • High School Qualification with a minimum 3 years of job-related experience
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in the English language.
  • Knowledge of special rates/offers/promotions. 
  • Proven ability to manage room sales with due regard to the Revenue.
  • Ability to adhere to Management Policy and target sales mix to achieve maximum room revenue, ensuring every opportunity to sell is taken. 
  • Computer reservation and ticketing training (Eg. Amadeus, Altae)
  • A high-potential individual is willing to be trained/learned.
  • Demonstrates Quality Consciousness.
