Capitalising on experience, job holder will drive transformation, and secure the availability of robotics and automation capacities to serve all divisions.

The job holder shall have strong understanding of the following:

• Sensing (extracting data & information from the world)
• 1D sensing (laser, US, eddy current) & 2D-visual sensing (color or thermal cameras, event-based cameras)
• 3D sensing (laser based, stereo, time-of-flight, …)
• Force/ Vibration  sensing & processing
• Data fusion

Required skills

• Computer vision (basic, advanced)
• Computational Geometry
• Experience with sensors and hardware
• Experience with DevOps practices
• Detection (mono-class, multi-class) & Recognition
• Localisation & Tracking
• Scene interpretation (expert systems, machine learning)
• Learning patterns over time (unsupervised learning)
• Strong programming skills and Solid C++, Python coding
• Experience with learning-driven computer vision, 3D point cloud processing, SLAM, or related subjects
• Solid data structures, algorithms and software design
• Experience with 2D & 3D image processing and related libraries (OpenCV) (PCL)
• Experience training deep convolutional neural networks
• Good to have robotics knowledge

Education requirements

• Bachelor’s/ Master’s in Computer Science or electrical & electronics or electronics & communication engineering
• 4+ years of experience in computer vision or related field
