Job Description

We are looking for a Sales Manager who will be responsible to develop, plan and manage sales targets for the region of Muscat and Salalah. (S)he will have to manage effectively the activities of the sales team to fulfill market obligations for - travel trade, customer and corporate and promote the Jazeera Airways brand, product, and Ancillary through the primary distribution channels.
The incumbent will also be responsible for share market intelligence, new route development, potential opportunities and threats with Area Manager.

Responsibilities and duties: 

  • Develop and implement the sales and market strategies to increase revenue and market share.
  • Set target and goals for the GSA team in Oman.
  • Set target and goals for the GSA team in Oman.
  • Determine the growth opportunities to ensure an effective sales, Distribution and market coverage.
  • Develop and implement sales procedures and policies in line with the industry best practices.
  • Ensure the sales and revenue opportunities are maximized.
  • Monitor performance of PSAs and Corporate.
  • Set up and monitor sales call plans for the sales team.
  • Guide, train, coach and review the performances and immediately address any shortcomings to derive an effective, high-performance Sales Team.
  • Prepare reports for the management on sales and market trend and recommend the necessary changes.
  • Regular visit to travel agencies / Corporate's to develop & maintain relationships.
  • Organize Road shows, community events, workshops or joint airline event for the trade with various tourism bodies.

  • To promote the Jazeera Airways brand, product, and Ancillary through the primary distribution channel.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Graduate in Business Administration preferably Sales or Marketing 
  • 3 – 5 years of Experience in 3-5 years in Aviation/Travel/ Hospitality industry sales
  • Enthusiastic and positive with excellent multitasking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Excellent negotiation skills
