Job Description

Assist, support and perform basic selling activities following established policies and procedures to ensure Etihad's sales operations are conducted in the most effective and timely manner with tasks that include:

  • Providing operational support to global sales on any ongoing matters related to process, policies and analytics
    • Driving process improvements together with the wider commercial strategy and planning team
    • Provide support with analytics, opportunities and business cases
    • Provide a comprehensive knowledge on Salesforce to support global sales
    • Provide guidance and support throughout the sales planning, incentive development, implementation and ongoing performance management cycle
    • Have knowledge on sales tools that involve Salesforce (Trade & corporate) from point of account manager but also the knowledge of implementation of such tools and involvement of Revenue management and Finance
    • Being represented in a number of cross functional forums (operations, network planning, Finance, Enterprise Analytics and marketing).
    • Establishing a strong cross functional network and relationships with stakeholder

Accountabilities

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide an ongoing Market support to Global Sales Team. This will include topic from CRM, agency remuneration, Legal, and any pre-existing process to facilitate the sales operation
    • Become a centre of information and expertise
    • Coordinate with finance and Enterprise Analytics to ensure incentive program deliver on time
    • Be a conduit for sales to coordinate with other department related to any upcoming or pending issue
    • Support the senior management with any task and analysis required

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree with minimum 3 years experience in the commercial area of sales and/or support
    • Strong understanding of the Commercial business model in the aviation industry
    • Understanding of commercial contracts, structures and sales processes.
    • Strong analytical and commercial acumen.
    • Improve efficiency through process improvements, automation and centralization/outsourcing
