Job Description

In the frame of the Airbus FHS-TSP (Flight Hour Service – Tailored Support Package), the job holder, as a member of the Flight Hour Services (FHS) entity, reports to the TSP Director for Scoot Airline.

In his function, the job holder ensures oversight of maintenance tasks performed by the MRO.  He is the focal between all TSP Scoot functions (Engineering, Planning, Spares), ensuring Scoot receives high dispatch reliability and operates at the highest standard.

The job holder will provide regular update on the MRO maintenance task activities and identify critical path in maintenance task.

The scope is only applicable to MRO performance in home station (SIN) and during daily office hour.

Job Responsibilities

• Focal point between the various functions within TSP (Planning, Engineering, spares, IMS etc.) to support Scoot operations.
• To ensure oversight of maintenance task performed by the MRO.
• To provide regular reporting to Scoot on the maintenance activities accomplished by the MRO.
• Coordinate with TSP Engineering team (ENRG) for technical recommendations to support MRO defect rectifications, delay and severe events follow up.
• Ensure engineering work order are carried out by the MRO to improve dispatch reliability of the fleet, in collaboration with TSP Engineering Team.
• Coordinate with TSP Planning team (PLG) and Scoot operation team to ensure efficient accomplishment of maintenance action.
• Coordinate with FCO and IMS team for materials, spares to resolve operation issues.
• Develop and maintain communications with others TSP stakeholders, with an integrated collaboration with TSP Team and Scoot Engineering Team.
• To obtain and provide status of maintenance task accomplishment by MRO to Scoot and ensure fleet operates at the highest standards.
• To escalate to Scoot task that cannot be accomplished by MRO.
• To support and define key performance indicators to measure MRO performance and to contribute to improvement plans.
• To attend daily operational meeting at Changi Airport with MRO and Scoot representative.
• To attend to weekly management meeting with Scoot management, TSP director, FCO and Engineering manager on critical task and operation issues.
• Support TSP to gather maintenance feedback from MRO on issues raised during task accomplishment, including damage report from MRO, DFP clarification, task status etc.
• Provide, based on best endeavours, phone support outside office hour for critical events such as local AOG support, consolidating support effort from TSP duty engineer, TSP duty planner and FCO to MRO for task accomplishment. Both parties agree that the baseline assumption for such assistance is that there will be a maximum of one (4) request per month from the Customer

Job Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Engineering ( Aeronautics, Mechanical) and/ or other related fields.
• 3-5 years Line or Base maintenance experience as LAE or similar within Airline operations.
• Airbus variant experience and robust technical knowledge on Airbus Aircraft types.
• Excellent understanding of Scoot Airline and MRO operations.
• Excellent team player with good interpersonal and communication skills to function effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
• Leadership skills and good soft skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience in customer management.
• Able to work under stress
• Capacity and flexibility to work in developing setup environment, independently and pragmatically.
