Job Description

As Security Systems & Hardware Manager, you will be responsible for helping us achieve this ambition through:

• Under the guidance  of MSSH, takes end to end ownership  in the design,  delivery and evaluation  of  medium size projects  on the same systems, ensuring the fulfilment  of end-user  requirements through the necessary negotiations  with stakeholders  within and outside of the department.
• Arranges  effective  support  by monitoring  the progress  maintained  by Security  Systems  Team  members  in relation  with  any  of the  assigned  operational  issues  or  project  activities  against  agreed  deadlines  and outcomes.
• Provide  administrative  support  to MATAR  Security operations  in  connection  with  the  usage  of technical security systems,  and  implementation  of security policy  defined  by MSSH  or other  unit  heads within  the department,  this  is  done  by  ensuring  the  documentations   are  up to  date  and  the  implementations  are according the end user requirements.
• Overviews   the  quality  of  system  and  hardware  teams  support  (providing   statistical   reports,  incident.  / investigation reports)  in MATAR  Security's  operational and equipment  statistical  monitoring  and reporting online platform  (Microsoft  Power Bl} and related activities
• Contributes to the design and performance  of internal audits both by Security Systems team and Compliance & Audit team  by the provision  of end-user manuals  reviewing fault reports,  operator  activity,  system reports and operator  history data.
• Manages team support for Security Operations team (ASOC  & Screening) in the development and update of operating SOPs for technical systems.
• Ensures the team members  effectively contribute to the assessment, evaluation  or investigation  of MATAR Security, contracted  service  providers'  and security  incidents,  by providing  technical support  and in-depth analysis of technical  data.

Qualifications

About you:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with  Minimum 6 years of job-related experience 
• Minimum  5 years  of experience  in  Aviation  / Airport  security  operations,  operation  or use of advanced physical security and surveillance systems at airports
• Minimum 3 years of experience in project management of security technical systems, with special focus on the definition and fulfilment of end-user requirements, implementation of new functional & technical solutions.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in training of operators for the use of security screening systems
• Qualification  in Electronic Security Systems,  Computer technologies/ Qualified Security officer
• Certified qualification in project management.
