Job Description

The Senior Analyst, Network Planning will provide support to the senior team members to analyze and develop flight schedules and route networks. The objective will be to maximize aircraft utilization as well as the financial return from the route network by optimizing aircraft deployment, frequencies and timings, and the mix of routes.

Job Description

• Monthly (or more frequent) review and update of the network plans for the upcoming months, making adjustments as required to optimize the recovery of the network during the covid period. 
• Assist in developing the budget operating network plan for the upcoming financial year, including fleet requirements.
• Developing the long-term network and fleet plans, based on an Optimistic, Baseline, and Pessimistic scenario. Defining and maintaining key milestone targets for recovery/growth.
• Close coordination with concerned internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on the forward plans.
• Awareness of changing market dynamics from both demand and supply points of view, including traffic patterns, competitive landscape, route capacity, tourism trends, and during the pandemic recovery – vaccination progress, border restrictions, and evolving regulatory requirements. 
• Assist the team with other ad-hoc projects or analyse as required.
• Assist the team in preparing reports and updates for internal stakeholders as required.

Requirements

• Possess a minimum Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study (Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Operations Research, Business Administration, Science & Engineering)
• Exceptional analytical and communication skills
• Good commercial acumen
• PC literate with strong skills in MS Excel
• A mature team player who is able to work well with other departments and stakeholders
• Strong presentation and verbal skills with the ability to deliver arguments clearly and confidently
• Able to work independently within a fast-paced, target driven environment
• Pro-active attitude
• Work Experience in network planning related work will be an asset
  Experience in travel industry preferred, though not pre-requisite
