Technical Operations/Maintenance

Technical Operations includes the maintenance, and overhaul of our aircraft. This includes aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities teams, supply chain teams and more.

Job overview and responsibilities

The Senior Analyst – Supply Chain Analytics, is responsible for identifying insights derived from data analysis and developing analytical capabilities to support the Supply Chain organization initiatives. Analysis scope will range from descriptive analytics to predictive and prescriptive analytics to guide better business decisions. Data insights support identifying business improvement opportunities in different parts of the supply chain areas to improve efficiency, service levels and to reduce cost.

• Identify supply chain decision and process improvement opportunities through analysis with the team
• Develop analytical capabilities that support business needs in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Support strategic supply chain initiatives with analysis accompanied by actionable recommendations
• Ensure alignment and prioritization with business objectives and initiatives – helping business owners make faster and better decisions
• Continuously improve the analytical capabilities

Required 

• Bachelor's degree
• At least three year of experience in an analytics or process improvement-oriented role in supply chain, aviation, manufacturing or related industry
• Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification
• Understanding of supply chain operations, planning and management
• Exhibits an analytical approach to problem solving with attention to detail and a sense of urgency
• Understanding of supply chain functions including sourcing/procurement, vendor management, inventory planning, warehousing and logistics
• Knowledge of relational database models and SQL
• Familiarity with data visualization tools, i.e., Foundry, TIBCO Spotfire, Tableau, MS-Power BI or equivalent
• Familiarity building executive level presentations
• Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship
• Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
• Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Preferred

• Master's degree
• At least one year of airline experience
• At least one year of supply chain experience
• Strong background in one or more supply chain functions
• Familiarity with Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) functions
• Familiarity with the airline industry
• Programming experience in a scripting language such as Python, R
• Experience with developing simulation techniques (i.e., Monte Carlo, discrete event simulation)
• Knowledge of data science and machine learning techniques
• Experience with analytical model development and deployment in a related business area
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies
