As the business expands, we are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Cargo Sales Team in Chicago as a Senior Cargo Sales Executive. The role includes:

  • Planning, implementing and controlling all selling and marketing activities within the station and penetrating the local market to secure new sources of revenues and surpass the revenue targets
  • Preparing a Business and Marketing plan in order to optimize revenue opportunities and maximize Qatar Airways (QR) presence in the market.
  • Supplementing sales calls made by the sales force to establish contacts and maximize Qatar Airways’ exposure to the marketplace.
  • Supervising the sales team to optimize cargo revenue production and develop/optimize their potentials

Qualifications

About you

  • Minimum of 5 years of job related experience preferably within air freight industry
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred as well as the ability to delegate, set clear directions, motivate staff and foster team work
  • Complete product knowledge and the market practices of the areas of jurisdiction
  • Strong presentation, negotiation and customer service skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
