Job Description

This role is responsible for inventory management, AOG spares support for operations to ensure that stock levels are sufficient. In addition, there will be sourcing of AOG spares from OEMs, airlines and arrange for logistics movement and custom clearance for overseas AOG. There will also be ITM administration for repair cycle management, ITM service performance and review with various OEMs on misses and issues. There will exploration of group synergy opportunities for spares or services procurement to ensure the most competitive cost. Lastly, there will be procurement for spares and services to support aircraft operations and cost efficiency discussions with suppliers and vendors.

Responsibilities

Inventory Management/AOG Spares Support

• Work with ITM service provider to monitor and update stock level to support operations
• Initial provisioning and re-supply of Rotables to support Operational requirements
• Monitor parts storage requirements; warehousing needs
• Sourcing of AOG spares from OEMs, airlines etc and provide logistic movement and custom clearance support to support overseas AOG.
• Monitor parts and movement of Customer Furnished Parts
• Support Maintenance Operations Team / Engineering in all aspects of spares requirement on day-to- day operations
• Review and evaluate Scrap components
• Manage and maintain overall oversight on Scoot ITM program

ITM Administration/Approval

• Ensure Day-to-day full repair cycle management, including repair quote approval
• Monitor ITM service performance and work to resolve any issues.
• Evaluate and maintain repair network for efficient repair cycle
• Vendor management – lead repair review with repair suppliers
• Work with SIA MMD to manage approvals for repair and spares procurement

Engineering Procurement

• Monitor engineering spares and services for aircraft maintenance
• Lead negotiations on pricing with Suppliers and Vendors
• To explore synergy in bulk purchases to reduce costs; engage in group purchases

Requirements

• Preferably with knowledge of aircraft operations and contracts;
• Preferably with Technical Service function experience for A320 and B787 aircraft type.
• Experience with fleet EIS support, lease and de-lease management.
• Basic knowledge in finance and costing.
• Team oriented and resourceful but able to work independently, when required.
• Good Interpersonal skills & Communication skills, both oral and written English.
• Communicate effectively at all levels, manage stakeholders from vendors as well as both internal and external departments.
• High problem solving skills.
• Strong creative output and execution with cost constraints.
• Background from ITM, freight movement and procurement will be preferred.
