Job Description

This role is responsible for Fleet Management for Scoot B787 and A320 operations management for Scoot Engineering Department. The role will be managing Line Operations and ensuring that delays and disruptions are prevented or minimised. The role will also review delays and provide corrective action and establish preventive measures to prevent reoccurrences. Overseas Line Operations management including station setup, spares movement, and ensure smooth routine operations. Managing aircraft de-lease activities, including working with various parties to ensure timeline is adhered to with minimal issues. Support for aircraft deliveries and ensure that all engineering requirements and issues are resolved and documented prior to delivery.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Line Station Management

  • Management of Line Station Operations and Restart, factoring availability of manpower, equipment and facilities
  • Monitoring of THA contracts and execution of services
  • Verification of THA invoices and ensure accuracy and cost effectiveness of charges
  • Station spares management to ensure that required spares and consumables are positioned at each station on time
  • Conduct station start up for new expansion in Scoot’s network and ensure operational readiness is met
  • Management and handling for Project C’s planning and execution, ensuring station readiness  and setup
  • Work with various parties for station start up, ensuring that THA is ready to support Scoot operational requirement
  • Work with THA, ENG OCC or flight crew for any technical issues and provide technical advise

Operational Support

  • Support Line Operations for the B787 and the A320 to ensure smooth operations and achievement of fleet reliability of 99.5% (A320) and 99.1% (B787)
  • Operational management for the planning of daily tasks and ensure that tech long items or outstation defects are addressed
  • Provide technical advice, support and coordination with various parties during critical situations such as AOG, delays or incidents and accidents. 
  • Close monitoring  for all critical flight serviceability and ensure all critical work and maintenance are completed.
  • Investigation and follow up for incidents, major delay or AOGs and implement actions to ensure minimal or no recurrence. 
  • Management and monitoring of Base Operational activity when aircraft is undergoing heavy maintenance or de-leasing activities
  • Oversight and management of aircraft de-lease activities, including liaising with Lessors, Maintenance Organisations and other parties to ensure a successful de-lease
  • Support for aircraft deliveries and ensure that the delivered aircraft conforms to the highest standards

Administrative Matters

  • Support the IOSA team for the IOSA audit in 2022 
  • Provision of monthly APM status to the SIA Performance team
  • Handling of quarterly QMR meeting, ANSP and other relevant audits
  • Provide support for NPS monthly meeting and follow ups with the customer care team
  • Assist in updating and generation of Scoot Manuals, such as EDPM, ANSP and THPM to ensure that content is always current
  • Management of Company Vehicle for lease duration
  • Undertake any additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Preferably with knowledge of aircraft operations and contracts
  • Preferably with Technical Service function experience for A320 and B787 aircraft type
  • Experience with fleet EIS support, lease and de-lease management
  • Basic knowledge in finance and costing
  • Team oriented and resourceful but able to work independently, when required
  • Good Interpersonal skills & Communication skills, both oral and written English
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both oral and written English and able to communicate effectively across all levels, manage stakeholders from vendors as well as both internal and external departments
  • High problem solving skills and compliance driven
  • Strong creative output and execution with cost constraints
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Dependable, team oriented and able to work independently with minimum supervision
