Job Description

1. Purpose : Work on Crew Manpower / Roster / Pairings & Flight analytics

 Primary Job Responsibilities  :     

• Sole ownership for identifying & validating all planning assumptions into Indigo Manpower Model
• Produce & deliver accurate short, medium & long term crew requirement for indigo by managing all aspects of the crew manpower plan , which drives precise and operationally robust forecasted crew requirement
• Optimize crew utilization through advanced tools & methods. Assist in the preparation of proposals to implement or enhance systems and/or business changes
• Build models that report and track crew related data to analyze trends. Support key stakeholders by putting forward recommendation & best practices
• Formulate mathematical or simulation models of problems, relating constants and variables, restrictions, alternatives, conflicting objectives, and their numerical parameters.
• Build and make various types of simulations on business problems & solutions, keeping cost & benefit as objective. Help leadership to take effective decisions.
• Identify and define business problems, such as pairing solutions roster solutions, flight and delay analysis. Review plan against actual operation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and decision makers to identify and solve a variety of problems and to clarify management objectives.
• Collaborate with others in the organization to ensure successful implementation of chosen problem solutions
• Prepare management reports defining and evaluating problems and recommending solutions. Where possible automate reporting so it can be produced in a timely manner and be constantly accurate.
•  Study and analyze information about alternative courses of action to determine which plan will offer the best outcomes
• Perform multiple market / competitor analysis to improve OCC function
• Define data requirements and gather and validate information, applying judgment and statistical tests
• Maintain and optimize hotel
• Evaluate data quality.
• Apply mathematical principles or statistical approaches to solve problems Determine appropriate methods for data analysis
• Identify opportunities for improving operational performance through technology and or other business changes
• Engage Operations Analysis to determine pairing / city pair or flight number impacts for OTP, operational resilience, and customer impact
• Understand needs of stakeholders and work on creating/ automating dashboards via SQL and Power BI
• Maintain an ongoing analysis of company operational performance through targeted dashboards automaton
• Should have hands on experience of analytical tools Advance excel, Power BI, SQL

 Ø Knowledge, Skills, Other Abilities :

Qualification       :              Graduate – Statistical / Finance / mathematical degree

Experience        :                Minimum 0-6 years of experience

Other Abilities   :               Power BI /Advance Excel/SQL and strong analytic skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage a team, implement processes for better working of the department.
• Should be open to 24/7 operations - Ability to work in rotational shifts
• Including night shifts, weekends & holidays
