Boeing Facilities & Asset Management team is currently looking for Senior Facilities Project Management Specialist join their team in Singapore. A successful candidate will lead significant and major facilities green-field construction and tenant fit-out projects within the Asia-Pacific region, including China. The selected candidate must be willing to travel approximately 50% of the time, mostly within the Asia-Pacific region.

Position Responsibilities:

• Lead cross-functional team of internal business partners and external suppliers in the delivery of facilities construction projects, utilizing accepted project management principles and methodology (execution plan development, requirements definition, baseline & change management, risk management, etc…).
• Lead the development of scenario-based schedule and cost estimates, risk assessments and recommendations in support of business partner initiatives and customer proposals.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Management and other stakeholders to establish supplier, contractor and material procurement strategies and tactics that align with project deliverables

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Qualifications in engineering or equivalent technical experience in facilities engineering and/or construction management fields.
• Significant experience leading “green-field” construction projects in China, from inception (documenting detailed requirements and building a project execution plan) through design, permitting and construction, to commissioning and close-out utilizing accepted project management principles and methodology (PMBOK, PRINCE II, Etc…)
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with team-members, senior leaders and business partners, and external suppliers.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree qualifications in engineering or equivalent technical experience in facilities engineering and/or construction management fields.

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 13 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+10 years' related work experience.)
