IT&DA supply chain is currently looking for Senior SAP Functional Analyst– Project Systems. The position will focus on delivery supporting large ERP transformation programs and sustainment teams across Supply Chain organization for all business units. As a Functional Analyst Project Systems, you will collaborate with project delivery, business, architects, designers, developers, and technical teams to determine / understand the scope and timeline of different projects and programs. You have a clear understanding of the applications and solutions to be developed to deliver successful business outcomes.
A successful candidate will bring; 1) a product mindset, to drive the delivery of transformational capabilities of high business value in Project Systems functions 2) demonstrated leadership in delivery high quality design and solution outcomes in collaboration with internal, and external partners and 3) strong application knowledge in Project Systems
Position Responsibilities:
Responsible as a Functional Analyst of Project Systems to design deliver capabilities across multiple business units;
• To conduct complex and interactive Project Systems integrated solutioning workshops
• To analyze and design the “To-Be” design leading processes transformation supported by Project Systems capabilities
• To support the definition of the Project Systems architecture
• To define data integration in multiple SAP ERP systems and Non-SAP systems with all related downstream and upstream processes
• To perform data mapping to Project Systems
• To develop functional and technical specifications
• SAP Cross module working experience with SD, FI, Production Planning and sub-contracting functions.
• To work together with both onshore and offshore teams
• Design and configure Project Systems solutions for identified gaps in functionality and business process
• Work with internal business customers and process owners to define business requirements and design high level solution that aligns with both IT and business roadmaps
• Work with IT team members to build detailed solution that aligns with both business requirements and architectural principles
• Ensure the solution built is scalable to high volume, flexible for future enhancements, Secure internally and externally and upgradable to future releases
• Solve complex problems on SAP & non-SAP Project Systems space in partnership with the other IT teams, troubleshoot the critical issues and fix as needed
• Follow SAFe principles and guidelines
• Design and build high level solution supported by system POC (Proof of Concepts)
• Provide periodic updates to the respective project delivery teams - related to progress of design blockers, KDD’s and other Architecture issues.
• Adopt, establish standards, best practices and processes as needed towards design high quality functional and technical solutions.
• Provide ROM’s for solutions based on the recommended design and architecture – seek alignment across stakeholders.
• Drive governance of the functional and technical design of Solution Delivery functions.
• Represent solution delivery team as a strong partner with cross functional teams across the ERP solution delivery, extended and enterprise teams including, but not limited to; development, testing, data management, infrastructure, security, operations and release management functions.
• Ability to measure, track, and correct outcomes based on metrics including SLA’s, KPI’s and user-experience, and customer satisfaction.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in SAP
• Experience in SAP Project Systems
• Experience in defining Project Systems solutions, data integration in multiple SAP ERP systems, and data mapping to Project Systems
• Experience in designing, configuration and implementation of SAP Project Systems.
• Demonstrate extension knowledge in consulting, designing, and implementing SAP Project Systems, and S/4HANA
• Experience in Project Systems supporting large and complex business environments
• Expertise leading solution design in large complex Project Systems landscape with ~5 years of experience.
• Ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization including senior business and IT leadership
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
• Certified Scrum Master/SAFe Certification or equivalent a plus
• SAP Activate methodology (certification or training)
• Working knowledge and experience in cloud-based solutions, cloud platforms.
• Product Management skills
• Aerospace and Defense experience
Typical Education & Experience:
• 12 to 16 Year's related work experience or relevant military experience
