Job Description

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

Perform independent reviews on business processes, functions, governance, operations and control environment to provide assurance to board and
senior management.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES  

• Develop and maintain Audit Universe and assist VP Internal Audit on preparing Annual Audit Plan.
• Prepare risk based Audit programs and carry out independent reviews in accordance with the International Auditing Standards and Department's Code of Ethics.
• Prepare efficient audit reports and recommend action plans.
• Guide Senior Management in performing risk assessments and monitor the risk status as per flydubai risk management practices.
• Perform ad-hoc assessments / investigations based on Management Requests.
• Determine compliance with Internal policies, procedures and best practices as applicable.
• Communicate effectively and professionally and maintain strong working relationship with key business units / department management.
• Co-ordinate internally and support reviews conducted by External Auditors.
• Assist or act as delegate for the VP-Internal Audit in meetings or communications with Senior Management.
• Travel internationally as applicable ( 20% of role).

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

Minimum Education Level Required

• Bachelors Degree (or equivalent)

Education / Experience Specific Requirements

• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or CISA.
• CPA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent.
• Experience of working in aircraft operations
• Preferred No. of Years (with Relevant Degree) - 6
• Preferred No. of Years (without Relevant Degree) - 9

ISR Requirements
Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day to day business operations.
