Job Description

To manage Roster Escalations team and associated job responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities:

Roster Review & Day to day escalation cases

  • Ensure timely and satisfactory closure of all escalations received by Pilots
  • Collate monthly reports on the types of queries and concerns received from Pilots for trend analysis and implementing long-term solutions
  • Review of monthly Pilot Rosters at Pre-Publishing stage to ensure pre-defined KPI’s are achieved for work assignment and ensure roster quality
  • Monitor and collate monthly data on Special Requests, International Layover Equalization, Overage & Underage in rosters
  • Ensure Regulatory compliance of crew rosters during the review
  • Generate monthly roster review report
  • Work in close co-ordination with Crew Control and Crew Planning teams for effective resolution of Pilot queries and concerns.
  • To be the point of contact for information and reports related to roster escalations
  • Maintain a record of daily FDTL extensions and reporting of FDTL exceedances to DGCA
  • Monitor / review records for a particular route or route patterns where crew discretion was used in a seasonal schedule.
  • Ensure roster review system policies, KPI’s, procedures and checklists are developed, approved, maintained and implemented down the line.
  • Ensure succession plan for smooth operations
  • Collate data for roster analysis and provide cost efficient solutions, this includes progress reports

Fatigue Risk Management System (FRMS)

  • Be a member of the Fatigue Safety Action Group and attend monthly meetings and share MOM’s for compliance
  • Review all fatigue reports and leaves
  • Assist in FRMS and Boeing Alertness Model (BAM) implementation
  • Maintain the FRMS documentation
  • Review monthly pairings and fatigue reports and suggest changes based on trend analysis

Job Specification:

  • Education: Graduate from a recognized University. Candidates with a degree in aviation will be highly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years' of experience in aviation operations (Experience in Crew scheduling will be preferred)
  • He/ She must be well versed with all Indian DGCA rules & regulations
  • Adept at using the software systems currently being used (Jeppessen and AIMS) to complete assigned tasks or other similar Crewing systems
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite especially MS Excel
  • Excellent business writing and communication skills
  • Problem solving & decision making skills
